You may not be headed for divorce just yet, but you may feel that there is something wrong with your marriage that could very well lead you down that path in the near future. Even when couples are barely speaking, or argue just about every day over the same tiresome things, it is possible to return to the content and loving relationship that you once shared. Saving your marriage is not going to be as hard as you think it is going to be, but it is hard work. If you have not yet gone down the road of divorce, you are probably living under the same roof. In that case, you have the time that you need to see what you can do. You can tell your spouse that your intent is saving your marriage, but you don’t have to do that if you don’t want to do it. What you have to do is have an honest conversation with yourself. Forget about what things you think your spouse has done wrong. Concentrate on yourself and what you could do better in your marriage.

Do you know what caused the change? If you can figure some of those things out, you are on the right track to saving your marriage. Are you not spending as much time together? Are you concentrating on your children more than each other? Have you forgotten how to be friends? Those are all things that can go wrong.
